Studying for the April 2027

Welcome man, im in the same boat, sitting April too. I started studying back in May thinking i would do October and pretty quickly realized it was way more of a process then i thought, so dont feel bad about the starting from zero part, thats basically where i was.

Couple things that helped me. The exam is open book so its really about knowing where stuff is in the books, not memorizing. Take one of the old exams on the site with your books open and no timer just to see what the questions actually look like, it was a wake up call for me. Also the same handful of CFR parts come up over and over, 111, 141, 152, 159, 174. I would spend most of your time there before anything else.

One heads up on the printed books, CBP puts out which editions the exam uses with the exam notice and it changes every time. The April 2027 notice isnt out yet. Your books are fine to learn from, just check the notice when it drops.
